How Rateboard stays current
This is a rates desk, not a lender. Every listing carries the date of the survey it came from. The masthead shows today’s calendar date; the figures show their observation date. Currency on the converter is fetched live when you open the page.

Update cadence
A standing reprint runs every morning at 10:00 a.m. Central. That job pulls the latest public surveys into this desk. Mortgage averages move with Freddie Mac’s Thursday print. Gasoline follows EIA’s weekly Monday sample and AAA’s daily national grades. Deposit national averages move with the FDIC. Auto and card APRs are quarterly. Tax brackets change once a year. If a survey has not published yet, the previous figure stays and keeps its as-of date — we do not invent a “today” rate. Currency on the converter is live when you open the page.
Calculators are estimates. They do not pull your credit file, your county tax rate, or your W-4. Confirm a quote with a lender or employer before you act.
Ads are labeled. Editorial averages are never sold. See Advertise for how the desk is meant to pay for itself.
